THE PROJECT
Project from my senior year branding class.
The Kenyatta University Health Centre is the primary health service provider within Kenyatta University’s main campus on Thika Road in Nairobi, Kenya. It is comprised of the following sub-units: The Outpatient Clinic, the Sick Bay and the Ghana Complex Clinics.
The directorate handles a large traffic of students and staff each day but lacks a strong independent brand identity system to complement it. This project intends to develop a fresh independent brand identity system for the Kenyatta University Health Centre aimed at promoting brand positioning.

Branding
The new identity adopts a minimalist, typographic approach inspired by the notion of clinical cleanliness.
The simple, bold, and consistent wordmark is established by partially abbreviating the faculty name into an acronym that can be used alone or accompanying the names of different departments or logos.
